Waypoint LARP: King George City
Findias the torch-lit. Findias the fortress aflame. Once empty and unused, Findias now finds itself crowded with great armies, now needed in this Endless War. The city of summer, of fire, of the south. It is in Findias that the Tuatha de Danaan now put their greatest strength. Always a fortress of war in a land without death, it once served no purpose other than to be an armory of the fell weapons the Tuatha de Danaan earned in the unspoken days before the Deluge. Now countless soldiers marshal there, training for battle before setting across the fields red with blood. Each wall bears a thousand torches, and the whole city seems aflame from afar. Countless smiths craft every form of armor and weapon, and in deep laboratories new horrors are concocted every hour of every day.
Findias is known among mortals in the Tarot by the suit of Wands, reflecting old knowledge of the city’s prize weapon: The Spear of Lugh, also known as Gáe Assail, which always finds its mark before returning to its owner’s hand, and which no shield can turn aside.
The proud Fatebound members of the Tribe of Findias count themselves as warriors without peer, living paragons of a martial tradition. Even now, dwelling on Earth as refugees, they still hold pride in their skill at arms and the many stories of battle from their greatest moments in the war. They know the Tuatha de Danaan have strayed, but are proud to reflect the greatest martial might of those greatest heroes of old.
